§ 13.04.020. Connection charges—Sewer.

  • The following charges shall be imposed and collected prior to connection to the sewer system.

    A.

    In addition to the basic installation charge, an additional charge, based on time and materials, will be imposed for labor and materials not included in the basic installation charge.

    B.

    A charge of seventy dollars for inspection of a connection to a sewer main line shall be imposed and collected. The charge for a reinspection is fifty dollars.

    C.

    If the Public Works Director determines that a tap, six inches or larger in size, is a line extension, charges shall be imposed and collected prior to connection with the Town sewer system.

    D.

    Upon determination by the Public Works Director that additional reviews, such as engineering, are necessary, the costs for such services will be charged to the developer of the property.

    E.

    In the event of deed restricted low income housing the old and unamended rates reflected in Section 13.04.020 Connection Charges — Sewer shall apply as follows:

    F.

    Sewer taps are attached to the real property of issue and are not transferrable to another property.

    G.

    Sewer taps are non-refundable.

    H.

    The owner of unconnected sewer taps, after five years from purchase date, will be required to pay any additional difference in the current cost at time of connection.
